Rift Valley University News!

Rift Valley University has conducted consultative discussion with a Russian State University known as Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics at its Head Office on Nov. 11, 2024. The point of the discussion was to partner in nine identified areas of collaboration designed by the University. Accordingly, the parties explored the possible areas of cooperation that involve knowledge sharing and skills transfer in areas of Robotics and Innovative Educational Technologies, including staff and student exchange, engage jointly in organizing seminars and symposium etc.

Dr. Abebe Gemachu, RVU Vice President for Research, Community Service and Partnership chaired the meeting in candid manner and urged the participants to materialize the identified areas of cooperation for the common good.

Finally, the two parties reached consensus to navigate other possible areas of cooperation in the future based on the demands from both sides, and pledged to sign Memorandum of Understanding in the near future.
