Research workshop at RVU Head Quarter

Rift Valley University Research, Community Service & Technology Transfer Vice President Office has organized two days (January 24-25, 2021) awareness creation workshop at the Head Quarter that is located around Gotera, next to Nation and Nationalities Square.

The participants of the awareness creation workshop are RVU Campus Research, Community Service and Technology Transfer Officers from all over the campuses. The two days trainings and workshop is planned to enable Officers to deliberate on the Reform RVU is undertaking that involves the newly prepared Senate legislations so as to tailor their duties along meeting the mission of RVU. Moreover, it will give them an opportunity to gain new insights about research work and exchange best national and international practices.

Vice Presidents and Directors will present their respective office plan and share experiences with Officers that would embolden them in their future duties.

Dr. Senabto Busha, RVU Research, Community Service and Technology Transfer made welcoming speech and invited Dr. Abebe Gemechu, Rift Valley University President to officially open the gathering.  Dr. Abebe in his remark reminded the participants to be active during the workshop and plan to move from national Research Conference to International research Conference that would involve Researchers from other parts of the world.
